There seems to be a new version 1.1 https://www.banggood.com/Geekworm-Power ... 82803.html
Any experiences with it? Are the problems solved like not charging after power comes back?

A windows PC connected with that AP or a smartphone has no problems. Its a Huawei mobile hotspot with a simcard as a backup connection, so it must be something with Raspberry and that usb dongle.

Different Hardware versions of PI3 Modell B?

A new Pi 3 arrived. As you can see it is in another Box. The PI in the left box was in a antistatic bag, in the right not. Both are printed "Raspberry Pi 3 Model B V1.2" In the left the connectors for Camera and Display have a small protective film on it and they are more difficult to open than on t...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

The idea of this program is awesome. The implementation, no so much. Full of bugs. Hangs all the time, or stops recording leaving files open saying "Busy",.... No one is working on the code for months now. Any request for support falls on deaf ears. If you have weeks of time to burn, you've got the...

Re: [SOLVED] GPSD and 10Hz Bluetooth Device, only about 0.3 seconds Data is caught

Seems to be a bug in Raspian and/or GPSD. Had the same problem several times again. A sudo reboot and everything is fine again. Mostly occurs when USB-GPS Dongle is plugged after Raspian has booted.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

One can probably minimise the risk of this occurring by writing to a tmp file first and then moving it to the final file name. Thanks, I'll try that. Plus the script needs an update, it just exits, if connection to GPS-Dongle gets lost at some point. I'll post the new code here for everyone who is ...

Re: GPSD and 10Hz Bluetooth Device, only about 0.3 seconds Data is caught

It now works, gpsd gives new data every 0.1 seconds, as it should be. Don't really know where the problem is. Because the cheap GPS dongle reverted back to once a second, I've set up again and Raspi booted in the mean time from another SD-Card. It now works.

In the latest version I did increase the limit for an individual parameter including the %a file to 150. It would be possible to increase a bit more. Re: GPSD and 10Hz Bluetooth Device, only about 0.3 seconds Data is caught

Thanks for the tip. Sounds reasonable. How can I do that?

In U-Center I've disabled GPS output via UART1 (UART2 was disabled as factory setting) otherwise 10 Hz wouldn't work in windows as well. In fact, only setting from "USB" output is important that U-Center shows the information.

[SOLVED] GPSD and 10Hz Bluetooth Device, only about 0.3 seconds Data is caught

Hallo, I have an UBlox GPS Device. If configured it in UCenter that it outputs its data each second 10 times. So you see in the time like 1.10 1.20 1.30 and so on On Raspi gpspipe -w gives for example: "time":"2018-03-08T20:38:29.100Z" "time":"2018-03-08T20:38:29.400Z" "time":"2018-03-08T20:38:29.60...

The official solution is to update again, since the firmware has been rolled back since then.
Can you explain a bit more? What do you have to do? This sounds much easier then all the other solutions.

Exfat-nofuse has the same problem https://github.com/dorimanx/exfat-nofuse just in case someone wants to try, it won't be useful.
We should tell samba not to allocate the whole filesize. Any ideas how to do?

Re: Samba on Raspi Pi 1 Model B 512 MB Copy large files gives error 0x8007003B

Problem seems to be with ExFat I dug into with iostat and have seen samba is writing/allocating the whole 1 GB on the ExFAT USB dongle. Because this is rather slow, a timeout occurs https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/current/man-html/smb.conf.5.html strict allocate (S) This is a boolean that controls ...
