RPi Backup

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way i could back up my raspberry Pi SD card somehow as an image file. Would it be possible to use the raspberry Pi to get a backup? I could possibly find a spare SD card and flash a new image, use gnome disk util to make a backup, upload to google drive and then...

Re: New Raspberry Pi tutorial website

That is a great web site you have created there, DarkPlatinum. I have one suggestion... Whenever you describe configuring WiFi or any other interface, please specify the OS you have used and the exact version. These things change over time. In a year or so Raspbian will have rearranged such things ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 won't connect WiFi to router

Is the hotspot on your phone off? I made a wifi setup tutorial for raspbian lite via command line a couple odd days ago, do you want to see if your config file is the same? Here's the link. There are 3 different ways, so try each of them. https://html.dynu.net/index.php/setting ... mand-line/

Re: New Raspberry Pi tutorial website

Do you know anything about SEO? I would like my site to come in top results, but as there are many websites out there, I'm pretty doubtful. I have gotten google to index my site. If you can get reddit talking about your website, you can improve your search listing. Here's a humorous example. https:...

When I click the link I get a "This connection is untrusted." error
I found the problem. I don't have a certificate for the www part. Only for the site html.dynu.net. Let me update the link once again. Thanks for pointing this out! :D

Re: New Raspberry Pi tutorial website

Nice web site. It is possible that a person can have more than one web site, so it is a good practice to include a link to the specific site you want people to go to. I have known web masters to carry several beepers, one for each web site they have responsibility for so they can be notified of an ...

You forgot the link to your web site.
The link is part of the user details to the right of the post itself.
No such thing exists from a mobile browser. I'm unable to find the link.
Added the link to the to stop confusion.

Raspberry Pi tutorial website

Hello Raspberrians, Before we get talking, let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a 16 year old student wanting to study engineering at university. The first time I ever interacted with Raspberry Pi was when there was an event taking place to learn a little about the LED RPi HAT. From then onward ...

Re: Minecraft 1.13 on Raspberry Pi 3

I have a feeling that MCPC is gonna become like MCPE. I downloaded MCPE on my ipad2 2 years ago. 1 year ago, they still support updates for my ipad. but what they didn't do is make it playable. Anything with more than 1GB ram is required to play MCPE now. Microsoft should still support MCPi., unfort...

Unfortunately I dont know much about this stuff. I setup a wordpress site using Raspbian Lite. Running on a Rpi Zero W over wifi. I used lets encrypt certificates very easily. Just run the installer, input your site, and boom, there is my certificate.

Anyone else seeing lots of flickering while playing now (in the ESC menu, or inventory)? It's been happening for a few months with newer images/updates. It happens more severely at higher resolutions or with higher view distance so I imagine it has to do with the Ram utilization, but I have the GPU...
