Re: Is the version of Mathematica in Raspbian limited in any way?

I think that the Wolfram language is complete.

However, the Mathematica front end is not complete. I try to list issues there: https://memorabletricks.blogspot.com/20 ... atica.html .

Some problems are very annoying especially for new users.

vncserver blocks incoming scp

Trying to scp to Raspberry pi, I have this strange message

Code: Select all

mac2011% scp Shreck.jpg pi@raspberrypi.local:
VNC(R) Server 6.7.1 (r42348) ARMv6 (Jan 30 2020 15:13:47)
and scp fails.

If I restart without vncserver then scp succeeds.

QED

but how can I make scp work while vncserver is running?

Real VNC to Mac OS X Sierra has screen size problem

I have Raspberry pi 2 with Real VNC server 6.1.1. and two Macbook pros, one with Sierra, one with El Capitan, both with Real VNC viewer 6.17. I have this problem with Sierra only : the bottom of the screen is missing. I have tried two resolution settings on Raspberry pi : Default 720x480 and DMT 128...

Re: Is Wolfram still developing for Raspberry Pi?

Can we expect future developments? My biggest hope is to be able to install the help on the machine as opposed to having to rely on the web. It would help greatly in internet-limited parts of the world. The Mathematica Documentation center used to be bound with Mathematica until v9 at least. More a...
