Re: armv6l or armhf

I have no answer for you, just a few questions / remarks: - are you running on Raspi hardware, or emulated? - Raspbian itself must know it's armhf, for example if you "sudo apt-get install ..." you see "armhf" in the stdout - I've made a lot of packages (./configure, make, etc) on Raspbian armhf wit...

Re: Big delay when mounting hugh partition.

Cool! Congratulations!

Questions:
What is now the value of CONFIG_LBD= in your .config?
How long did compiling take? 10 - 16 hours?

Re: RF Bitbanger ported to Raspberry Pi

You are right, it seems to work without the group option an running as sudo. Still I am pretty sure I need the group option to control my switches. So keep using sudo for the time being. Yes, I thing -g is needed (I had a look at the source code): it's converted from groupStr to pHouseStr, and then...

Re: Firmware

Maybe you're able to answer the question yourself: create a SD-card with the soft-float image, and then a SD-card with the hard-float image, and compare what you want to compare.

Remember: one of the great things of the Raspi, is that you can freely experiment and tinker with it.
