If your phone supports the PAN/NAP or DUN Bluetooth profiles it might work. To see if your phone has PAN/NAP or DUN, make it discoverable and use: apt-get install bluez hcitool scan You should see a line of text with a "BD address" (some hex numbers) and the Bluetooth name of your phone.
