Before getting into overclocking...what model of Pi are you using? If it's anything prior to a Pi2B, you may be better off by just buying a current PI...

Is overclocking safe ?
Hi, I use a Raspberry Pi as my daily driver. Frankly it runs a bit slow. When loading web pages CPU usage shoots up to 100%. Same when launching apps. I see there is an option to overclock the Pi under raspi-config. So my question is if I overclock the Pi will it reduce its life ? Is it safe to over...

Probably. I use https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015N5JO9E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with an SSD on a Pi. You could ask a question on the Amazon page about linux / Pi compatibility. The seller has answered a question himself in the past: http://www.amazon.in/forum/-/TxIPVY...

Wrong keyboard layout on login screen
Hi,
When I am in the gui my keyboard works perfectly but when I type on the login screen every thing goes haywire.
c prints x
p prints b
y prints r
o prints y
5 prints J
The same thing happens when I am in other runlevels.
Locale is set correctly. As I said all works well when I am in the gui.
