Re: p4+7" display no output after reboot

Is there a way or commands to turn on the 7” raspi display if it is off and the machine s running? If so then I can simply put them in the startup commands and I will have my display working on reboot.

Re: p4+7" display no output after reboot

Thanks..I see clearly it is a V1..2014. I am wondering if the rpi4s power down the gpio rail on reboot and if the V1 display is sensitive to this? I am going to power the display with 5v external and see if that is the case. It did not matter if the external 5v was applied...maybe the problem is the...

I have the same behavior and I assume I have a V1 screen.. how do you tell the version of the screen? I have to power cycle to get it working again.

The “missed” button press issue also happens to me and I am using an esp8266 to function as the dash button with the pi zero w. Maybe an issue with scapy? I’ve had them before...using stretch Linux raspberrypiG2 4.14.34+ #1110 Mon Apr 16 14:51:42 BST 2018 armv6l GNU/Linu

Re: Raspbian Stretch: Wifi not starting on boot

Hello, I am using stretch 4.9.48+ #1034 on a pizerow. I have observed that if my wlan0 goes off I have a script to do a reboot. The wlan0 does not always come back..however if I power off and on It works. Is there a difference between reboot and a power off and on that anyone knows of? Thanks -don

Re: 3.5 Inch TFT Display for Raspberry Pi

I just wanted to add this..I spent several hours fruitlessly trying to get the adafruit 3.5 PITFT working on Stretch 11/2017 release..with the raspi pi 2 model b v1.1. I am only making this post to perhaps save someone else the time spent! The adafruit jessie code works but I wanted supported code.....

Re: Raspbian Stretch: issue with BCM43xx wireless and scapy

So in reading through the topic I saw a mention of the Broadpwn fix..maybe that is the culprit? I made a post to the topic and maybe someone will comment. Of course the more people who chime in on this would help elevate the issue’s visibility..thanks

Re: Raspbian Stretch (9.1) has arrived !!

I see that the Broadpwn fix is there for the integrated wifi but not for the usb dongle. I have noticed that scapy ARP sniffing function no longer works on the integrated wifi but does on the dongle.

Re: Raspbian Stretch: issue with BCM43xx wireless and scapy

No work around just staying on Jessie March release or use an external wifi usb dongle. It is sort of a regression issue where it worked and now doesn’t. It will get harder to fix I fear since it never worked on stretch and they will not go back to Jessie any longer. Thanks for noticing this and may...

Re: Issue #57 Hack a Dash Button

I just used the jessie 4.9.28-v7 with a tenda w311m wifi module and it worked fine .. this was on a rpi 2 .. so maybe it is just with the integrated wifi on the pi zero???
