Lo probé, y si bien tiene la ventaja de, efectivamente, comprobar la integridad de los torrents (funcionalidad que Transdroid no tiene), prefiero éste por el buscador integrado, ya que sin él buscar torrents y agregarlos desde el movil es un engorro. Yo, sin haberlo overclockeado, sí que noto que el bicho se calienta bastante, sobre todo si lo tienes (como es mi caso) descargando 24/7, con lo que al calor de la CPU se suma el del chip que hace de hub ethernet/USB. For the record, I´m downloading right now heavy Xbox-360 isos (aprox. 8 gb each one) via direct download with Pyload in the same Raspbian image that I post here earlier... and no hangs at all. No kernel panics and any other weird thing since 3 days ago, and with higher download rates (1mb/s facing 7...

There is some NAS (even routers with an USB port) that allows the installation on transmission and works perfectly. There is a NAS in dealextreme that cost less than the raspberry and allows torrents download without a problem, even to a NTFS disk. But the raspberry can´t... :roll: It seems like the...

Mine freezes too, after 72+ hours of non-stop donwloads with transmission-daemon on a NTFS disk.
I´m tired of testing. I supposse I´ll wait for any distribution that works fine.

I understand all that you said, but the fact is that the last week I was one of the pissed off users that claims for a solution for the freezing problem under heavy eth/usb traffic, and since the installation of the hexxeh-raspbian distro my Transmission-daemon works like a charm. The only change I made was set the value "vm.min_free_kbytes" to 16000, following some advices that I found in this forum. Before of that I made some tests with other values (32678, 8192...), but always freeze.

I had the same freezing problems with Debian; since I installed Raspbian-hexxeh the freezes are over. I am using Transmission and no crashes or freezing since last friday, and before that (when using Debian) I should reset the Pi every 15 minutes.
