Re: Did anyone of you turn their back on MS Windows definitely?

I went to Xubuntu when Karmic release came out. Once I'd found all of the codecs and junk I needed, I really didn't Win*blam* at all.  Forced to deal with it now . Ready for an All-Linux box again. Anyone who says Linux isn't user friendly has obviously never used Ubuntu.

<t>Alien was on IFC night before last. Haven't watched it in 20 yrs. Good horror flick, but indeed, Aliens was much better. Better script, better acting, better cinematography and continuity and more memorable scenes and lines. Haven't seen it in several years, have only watched it in it's entirety ...

I was looking at that one and found a Philips 19" for $40 less. Also found a returned Belkin powered hub for $6. There it sits, on the sewing machine cabinet/Pi desk... 19" HDTV, powered hub, Logitec keyboard and mouse... with a big hole right in the middle.

I won"t say that all CGI is bad, but these lowbudget green-screen productions get annoying. You end up with two heads talking superimposed over a blurry backdro and it looks like an early daytime drama.

Note the red "Cylon Eye" maraschino cherry at the bottom of the glass. Pi drink should include some sort of brandy and raspberry liqueur served in a shot glass which has a raspberry frozen in 3/4" of solid ice at the bottom. Get it?
