I had similar problem. Had to use the hdmi = 4 for 720p and set overscan values in the 25-35 range. Guess my TV was not as good as I thought. I've got big chunky icons, but it's very readable. I've had to re-flash my card several times due to my fumbling around. BTW, don't get led down a bunny trail...
Little Androids - Big Suck Try to find one of those little Chinese Android tablets or Netbooks this year (not the cell-phone variety, mind you). Last Christmas you had to kick them out of the way just to cross a sales floor, this season they're nowhere to be found. Guess the cheesy little things wi...
They said there'd never be a blue. Then they said there'd never be a white. I remember getting my first green one in summer of '77. I soldered it and a resistor to a 9V battery clip and used it to read under the covers after lights out. =)
Probably the must versatile device ever put in an 8 pin DIP until Atmel AtTtiny's. I my tinkering days I had an entire bin drawer full of them. Hats off to the man, half of what we built could never have been without his work.
I was flummoxed by that choice. Mini-USB is almost universal. I've got at least a dozen wall-warts with current capacities ranging from 500mA to 1200mA just lying about.
I know there's an android version of DOOM, but I'm not sure if it's been ported to native ARM code or to Dalvik VM. DOOM doesn't require acceleration. Remember, this is a game that ran well on i386-SX.
I should have listened to my former boss back in the early '90's. He owned a small computer shop and as far back as the 80's he was talking about how PC's wouldn't exist as we knew them in 30 years. His opinion was that as processors and storage became smaller and cheaper, PC's would devolve into a ...
Bear in mind that RISC devices are less evolved than their CISC cousins and are therefore more prone to violent outbursts when threatened. Try to minimize its anxiety by reducing clutter in its environment and providing appropriate clothing. Try to put yourself in its place and imagine how it feels ...
<t>... and the article begs the question: "What device(s) would a college level course in embedded programming standardize on?"<br/> <br/> I could fill an entire dictionary with pejoratives and expletives I favor in describing prospective employers who are fond of the phrase "You don't get trained h...

There are challenges but on the whole everything works fine. I have had to set up a dual booting PC with Windows for ...
Favorite is not a joke at all, but a cartoon that was on my college instructors bulletin board above his desk. Decpicted a classic "punk" with cut-off jacket, mohawk and safety-pin in cheek urinating on a sparking and exploding video terminal. Caption: "Computer Whiz".
