Re: Florence onscreen keyboard

In the same thread that I provided you with instructions for compiling Onboard, I also told you that Florence doesn't work properly. I don't know why it doesn't work properly as I wasn't interested in finding that out. I do recall that there were at least a few annoying issues when trying to use it...

I used sudo nano /boot/config.txt and changed it there. Thanks. it looks so much better, or should I say bigger.

Official display resolution

I have the official 7" touchscreen, and display properties says 1024x600. Everything is very small, so how do I change this? There is no pulldown in Display Properties.

Go and buy a factory fresh 16GB card. Take the current card and toss it in the "spares to be used later" drawer.
OK thanks. will do.

Re: sudo reboot shuts down Pi 3

You've run rpi-update, haven't you. DON'T DO THAT, it breaks things in ways that you won't have met before. https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1937 You'll need to rebuild your SDCard with an older (4.4.50) or newer (4.9.20) kernel & bootcode. Thank you for the link, all I ran was sudo get-...

sudo reboot shuts down Pi 3

When I enter sudo reboot into the terminal or from the GUi it shuts down instead of reboots. But not a clean shutdown. Is there something I can do to stop this strange behavior? Here is a link to a video of the problem. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u6jphpak62xp2jh/File%20Apr%2004%2C%208%2021%2024%20PM....

Thanks doing it now. I hope this works. I used Etcher to make the SD cards on my Mac.

Two SD cards same image one doesn't work

I have a new 32Gb class 10 card and a new 8gb class 10 card, both have the same image. (checked by erasing formating and reinstalled) The 8gb image works fine, but the 32 gb image doesn't. I have a Auto Boot and shutdown card installed and the 8gb shuts down properly, but the 32gb doesn't. Is there ...

Below is the directions to install the shutdown/startup board. The problem is that the board turns off the Pi but doesn't run shutdown. Please look at the instructions and see if anything looks wrong with code. I was looking at the chmod +x, could the permissions be wrong so the script isn't run? I ...

Power needed but not sure what to get

I have the following boards:

Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
Real time clock
Auto shutdown module

The power isn't enough for all this once I added the shutdown module. I would prefer one power supply instead of two. What should I purchase? I want to add a SATA card with M 2 SSD.
