yea the PI was very hot. I read that they have poly fuses that could get better over time? I have put it in the fridge and will try it again later. It was only connected for maybe half a second.

I accidentally connected 5V to GPIO27 and now I cant get anything to work. Even the screen that was connected to my Pi will not seem to work.. The red LED comes on when i plug in the power, but thats about it. I probably just fried it? Is there a way I can check this? It is a Pi 3.
