Re: How can I create an .iso image from the Buster Lite .img file?

Before telling people they are misguided, have a look at: https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspberry-pi-desktop/ and maybe try it out for yourself, to become yourself, well, less misguided. Let's try again.. That's *NOT* a version of Raspbian. It's Debian for x86, 32bit, with a Raspbian lookal...

Re: How to update Mosquitto

Just follow the instructions on the page Dougie linked to.
Use the correct apt list file for your OS version. Assuming it's Raspbian Buster that's mosquitto-buster.list

For G2 it is

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config nonint is_fkms
Don't think it is. AFAICT that command only checks the status, it does not set anything.
As said already: raspi-config is a script and you can easily have a look at what it does.

Re: Unable to run Anvil on Pi as it says it can't find Anvil library

Had a quick look: you seem to be installing it for Python 2 (using pip) and then run it with Thonny using Python 3. That will not work.

Try to install the module with

Code: Select all

sudo pip3 install anvil-uplink
In future please post messages as text instead of images.

How can I start install the packages by the sudo dpkg if I don't have SSH access?
Use a keyboard?
Restore your SD card backup?
Use your spare SD card to install a basic Raspbian and then use that to repair your original disk?
Start from scratch and try not to make this kind of mistakes?

Then you will have to start with giving more detailed information, especially *full* error messages instead of your interpretation.
Also the exact steps *you* took, not just what's written in some instructions.
Also your setup: model Pi, OS + version, etc.

Having bought £170 worth of stuff from your Pi Hut, I'm genuinely disappointed and disgusted with the support and quality of the products you sell. You? You're not talking to the Pihut here. You're mainly talking to a bunch of volunteers with a few added RPF/RPT people... Pihut is *not* part of the...

UV4L is not necessary for the official cams.
These packages give additional functionality, but that was not what you asked.

Waarom installeer je het niet gewoon?

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt install partclone
En wat zit er in dat archive? Source, programma, ...?
Het lijkt er op dat er verschillende versies voor de diverse processor architecturen zijn: https://packages.debian.org/stable/admin/partclone

Re: How to install .run and .bin files in raspberry pi 3 b + (Raspbian buster)

No idea what .run and .bin files are, but they are most likely made for X86 (Intel) processors.
If you download something like that you have to make sure it's for ARM, Devs will normally mention Raspberry Pi explicitly.

I would assume they contain functionality the writer of the program wants to use. Some of them are quite large so it would be a guess exactly why these are imported without seeing the full code. I would suggest you google for 'python module' plus the module name to find more information about them. ...

Looks like you did not run 'sudo apt update' before trying to install and are using apt info that's not up to date.
The current version of the first file is not 2.2.10-6+deb10u2 but 2.2.10-6+deb10u3
