hello and a happy new year to everybody! Setting up my Pi for my Windows home network I run into some troubles with samba, cups, and booting errors. I am using the latest Jessie release with Pixel, and I have already disabled the splash screen. Since having installed all that I get a red boot error ...

I tried again and now there is an new message at the end:

what does that mean? what is damaged?

and what means "do a RMA on it" ? return to the vendor?

power supply of course is also ok (2A, the same I used for crosschecking on another Pi), I also meanwhile checked another SD card from a friend which has exactly the same issues on my Pi but runs fine on 2 other ones, so I actually doubt it's caused by the SD cards: 2 different SDs are running fine ...

everything checked there, e.g. both LEDs are constantly on, the SD is OK (boots correctly on another PI), USB keyboard + mouse ok (cross-checked), HDMI is ok (finally at the start all the log outputs on the screen is fully visible), and booting even starts correctly but then gets stuck in the middle...
