Re: World’s first and smallest Pi 3B+ Poe Hat

This kinda made me laugh. If it is the first then it would also be the smallest, largest, most expensive, least expensive etc. as someone else has pointed out. :D

But that is not the case because there is already a POE hat for the pi out there for sale right now.

A few questions about Lora

Hello everyone, I am new to the world of Lora and am currently doing my research and I have a few questions that I can't find the answers to: 1. What is filtering? 2. Which frequency is the most reliable but also able to transmit up to 5 miles? 3. Am I right saying you can just have two Lora boards ...

I think I read somewhere that the Voice Kit doesn't fully support the Pi 3 B+ yet.

Quick Question

Hello, is discount still available for magpi subscribers for the hackspace magazine as I didn't subscribe early as I wanted to make sure the good content was consistent and not just in the first 1 or 2. Thanks,
LouisP (Magpi subscriber for about 6 or 7 months).

RFID and Voice Hat At The Same Time

Hello everyone, I want to wire up the Voice Kit and a RFID reader (RC522) to a Pi 3. However, they both use pin 25 (RST). Is there a way to get around this?
Thanks in advance for any help,

A bit late but in issue 58 on page 69 the Voice Hat Hardware Extensions diagram says MOSI is GPIO 9 but I think it should be GPIO 10.

Thanks for the help. Will solder those last few pins then.

Edit: I am only a beginner at looking at schematics but it seems all the GND pins are connected together into one (if that even makes se...

Here is a really bad picture taken on my laptop. The pin that is badly soldered (bottom left) isn't actually needed by the MeArm Pi HAT.

Re: Soldering Pi Zero W GPIO Pins

Thanks for the reply. I am not a pro at soldering so the less chances to make mistakes the better. It would take me about 15 mins to solder the rest of the pins and more if I mess some up. I don't plan on pulling the hat away from the Pi Zero W at all.

Soldering Pi Zero W GPIO Pins

Hello, I am using soldering on my Pi Zero W GPIO pins for the MeArm Pi Hat (https://pinout.xyz/pinout/mearm_pi). I will be soldering the 6 pins at each end of the pins and the one the board uses but do I need to solder all the GND pins or just one?
Thanks in advance,
Louis P
