Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

For the moment I've set up /etc/network/interfaces to how I normally have it set, ignoring wpa_supplicant, and the wifi is running. Keep it simple etc. Sure, the intention is that if you prefer to edit config files to set up wifi it should be very straight forward for you to set up /etc/network/int...

Re: Qt5 raspbian - errors, errors and more errors :(

I'm hopeful that now the future of Qt is sorted (i.e. many Qt devs have gone over to Digia) we'll be able to improve the situation for pre-built Qt5 binaries.

malakai: It's a harmless warning.

EDIT: at least the update-rc.d bit is. That isn't the right kernel though.

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

Seems the configuration is expected to be done through the GUI. Take a look here - http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=176847#p176847 For those of you, like me, who keep well away from the GUI then too bad for the moment. You should be able to just set up /etc/network/interfaces and a...

Is there a non-GUI version of the WiFi Config? I use my RPi's primarily via SSH (HDMI, WiFi, NO Ethernet, Keyboard if necessary, No mouse) I almost never use startx. My experimental RPi with a breadboard etc... doesn't have a keyboard or monitor at all. If WiFi is not working, I have to sit in a ha...

We all have Dom to thank for the audio improvements (better quality output through the analog jack). Yes, just upgrade your firmware and you will have it.

If XBian is derived from the Raspbian images on our download page then yes, that should be possible. You'd be best off asking the Xbian creator for support on this though.

By the way, have you actually had issues with the current SD card resizing implementation or do you just ...
