No, not in the macosx folder. that folder should be deleted. If you have AIM, you can Instant Message me at SSilver2k2. It will be easier to guide you that way than through forum posts. :)

Re: StepMania

That's funny. I was compiling stepmania last night and ran into the tomcrypt error. Glad you were bale to fix that.

The errors seem to be that it's using Standard OpenGL, but the Pi can only render OpenGL ES natively.

The next course of action is to convert all the OpenGL calls to ES.

Re: Raspbian binaries now available (MESS, MAME, neogeo)

Are you sure you are in the proper directory? You need to be in the same directory that the advmame binary is. usually it should be in mameBin/bin/ If mameBin is unzipped at your home directory, you should be able to just cd ~/mameBin/bin then ./advmame I'm trying to run advmame (and advmess later) ...

Re: Prepare for Descent

It took about 25 minutes for Descent 1 and a little faster for Descent 2. My Pi is overclocked to 900Mhz. Do you know where to get the shareware datafiles for Descent 2 (if needed)? Also, with Descent 1, I get past the intro, but it crashes saying can't find joystick when the level tries to load. An...

Re: Raspbian binaries now available (MESS, MAME, neogeo)

Ok, for gngeo, open up your ~/.gngeo/gngeorc file and check to make sure these are correct: # Play in fullscreen? fullscreen true # Which effect? 'gngeo --effect help' for a list # none # scanline # scanline50 # scale2x # scale2x50 # scale2x75 # doublex # sai # supersai # eagle effect scale2x50 full...

Re: Raspbian binaries now available (MESS, MAME, neogeo)

Weird. I'll try again and let you know. Set fullscreen to true and set effect to 2x 75% scanline in the ~/.gngeo/gngeorc file When I do so I get: "Screen initialization failed", if I start under X. If I start in console the system just hangs up with black screen. The only option which works - double...

Re: Porting quake2 (work in progress)

The framerate is really all over the place. Still playable though. You really need to use the yq2.cfg file to get it playable on the Raspberry Pi. Without it, my board would run REALLY hot, framerate would be low, and then it would eventually crash. Using the second config file it can run the intro ...

Re: Raspbian binaries now available (MESS, MAME, neogeo)

What is the full command you are using to launch it? it should be something like ./advmess nes -cart smb2.nes, with the smb2.nes file in a folder called nes. IE: /rom/nes/smb2.nes So I'm having an issue trying to load up a cart. I get the following error: Device cartridge load (smb2.nes) failed: Fil...

Yes it is possible to stretch the neo geo screen. Set fullscreen to true and set effect to 2x 75% scanline in the ~/.gngeo/gngeorc file I'm not sure about the other error :( Is it possible to strech neo-geo image?
