You ain't trying very hard if everything you do stays in 256MB ! Yes, the Broadcom Android does everything - encode, decode, 3D, 2D, SurfaceFlinger acceleration, camera etc. Whether it works on the Raspi yet, I don't know - there is no reason why not. If you want actualy gsm functions you may be out of luck,
you might be able to get a open based hsdpa modem and make a custom driver for it =/

Was relatively easy to get working (compared to android),
I will be uploading a few pictures of it later
bear in mind that the arm version of WebOS does not currently have a graphical interface

Right, firstly the guy above me doesn't seem to have a clue about android.
Secondly, flash on the pi is available with android,
Thirdly, The current builds of android have no sound and no acceleration
This is only temporary as we are waiting for broadcom to release the drivers ;)
