All access is lost on all devices I have mentioned and in those requiring wifi I have used 3 different wifi dongles.. If it is a network issue it must be in the raspian software as not hardware as the Pi B and B+ are often used for several days as Octopi servers with cameras and there is NO issues....

I have hit an issue with this software.. if I run the software longer than 10mins I can nolonger access it and control the camera... It is as thought a screen saver has activated and locked the device.. I intend to use the software without a screen and remote login but if the 10min thing can not be...

Next time buy a screen based on it's compatibility rather than its low cost. +1 But the good news is that your learning experience has cost you nothing but time and frustration, so you can put the money you originally spent and recovered towards something supported by a reputable seller. currently have v1.3 5meg camera modules...


How do I we achieve the 10 secs shutter.

We are using RPi Cam Control v6.2.19 to take photos etc

Sorry partners the Photo nut not me so am not sure of the correct terms lol...

Loving this app so far the best solution I have found for using the camera on the Pi and will allow us to push forward with are projects... Two this that would be great to see is a dedicate app but most of all support for 3d side by side(google card board)... if this could be implimented it would be...

I have a second issue of installed or newly installed apps not showing up in the menus!!! Eg Viking was installed before upgrade and now is not showing in menus yet shows as installed in synaptic.. Have done a reinstall and nothing changes.

I have an issue where I try to open a folder(OTHER) in the applications menu (has a dozen apps in it ) it crashes the desktop and reloads it. If I try to open access the folder to many times(4 or more) it crashes the Desktop completely and the only way to use the Pi is a full reboot... Any ideas why...
