Re: Cheap powered USB hub?

400mA is a bit low, but it depends on what you want to do with it, actually I'm suspicious about the quality of such a cheap PSU, it could be one like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T88ej64aXUM&feature=plcp If that PSU can really generate 400mA, AND keep the voltage at a stable value of a...

Re: Camera module! (And a picture of JamesH)

.......but why make it difficult for people that want to go beyond "what most people want"? mgg I find that a rather insensitive remark. I have been making sixteen hour days so you guys can get a camera in three months time. And no, I don't get paid a penny for all the extra hours. It is all charit...

Re: Line level

I think you answered your own question - it most certainly will need a pre-amp. There are many on eBay - happy hunting!

Nice job - do you take pre-orders? ;)

Pi has spawned a whole raft of hobbyists doing more than just programming the device - sure is food for imagination!

Re: Milliput and credit cards...

Another alternative product to achieve the same aim is Sugru - once it sets, it has a little "give" in it and so could "nip" the board without the need for slots and encroaching on components.

Re: Beware of cheap cases

And you can get a nice box from your takeaway for the the price of a chicken vindaloo! Oh dear! You might be reported to the RSPRpi for cruelty to a Pi - raspberry and chicken vindaloo :o Maybe I should point out that other flavours and variants are available. Does it not begin to smell as the Pi w...
