I would recommend testing direct through using arecord and aplay : arecord -r 48000 -f S16_LE -c 2 | aplay -r 48000 -f S16_LE -c 2 - Use "-D hw:1" or "-D hw:0" to choose which cards you get and put audio to/from. Hi there, I think you should start from checking that the usb device is loaded correctly. When you plug the usb audio device into the system, is the driver correctly detected in the lsusb command ?
