Re: Accéder à un périphérique wifi depuis l'interface ethernet

Tip-top.

Bon.

Re: Application problems on boot, but perfect manually

Raspbian, I suppose ? This sounds like the usual startup order issue with systemd. Rc.local is not guaranteed to be executed last, only late. Maybe it is not late enough. The proper fix is to create your own systemd unit file and get that to launch the service only when the system is ready. The chea...

It looks like limiting logging can help. That would make sense.

Fâcheux. Auriez vous l'obligeance de me faire tomber la sortie de: ip link ip -d route ip address cat /etc/dhcpcd.conf cat /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf | sed 's/\(wpa_passphrase=\).*/\1xxx/' networkctl for f in /etc/systemd/network/*br0*; do [ -e "$f" ] && echo -e "\n[$f]\n" && cat $f; done Comme ça on...

Re: How to change the hostname of Raspberrypi4 on an SD card?

Before first boot, you have to edit the image. At first boot, add your own scriptlet to the image. If you're in fact interested in the name assumed on the network (hostname.domainname) by the host, then you might be able to configure your DHCP and DNS server to provide a name for the host, and resol...

Re: WiFi Direct and WiFi Internet Connection

That thing is not WiFi Direct. It is a routed WiFi Access Point. The WiFi interface of the Pi is set to AP mode. Connecting to your main network and the internet with WiFi requires an interface in client mode (aka Managed, aka STA -for station) In the Pi, the built in adapter does not handle dual mo...

Re: 'dhcpcd' is using deprecated sysctl (syscall)

I don't really see the relation First off I imagine dhcpcd tries to set net.ipv6.neigh.wxl12345.retrans_time if you use predictable names? Second this tunable has to do with ARP , which dhcpcd uses, but I would be surprised if a missing tunable key alone broke dhcpcd/ipv6, without anybody ever notic...

Re: Force kill program

Sleep before checking for the existence of the PID, and then kill immediately.
As your loop is now I suppose pidof fails to find a process number, because the process hasn't been spawned yet.

Untested

Code: Select all

raspiyuv -w 2464 -h 2464 &
sleep 2
kill -INT $(pidof raspiyuv) >/dev/null 2>&1

Re: Can't get wireguard server to connect with openvpn client running

This doesn't have anything to do with Pi. It is a pure question of routing/networking
I even found an answer for you: https://superuser.com/questions/1403830 ... n0-openvpn

Hi all, Nothing works i will just manually send code via command line and manually alter the saved file. Thought Pi was meant to be easy. Thanks all again It is simple. The documentation explicitly shows how to save files under a unique name: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/usage/camera/r...

Re: RPI3/4 network : router or switch ?

You might be confusing a hub with a switch. A switch is more intelligent than an Ethernet hub, which simply retransmits packets out of every port of the hub except the port on which the packet was received, unable to distinguish different recipients, and achieving an overall lower network efficiency...

Re: DHCPCD sometimes fails and does not restart

The ticket you linked says “Restart=always” in the systemd unit file is an option. Did you try that? To edit a standard unit file, use “sudo systemctl edit <service-name>” If you add to the beginning of /etc/dhcpcd.conf the following line : debug you should see more detailed activity in syslog, perh...
