Ok thanks alot. That is exactly what I'm trying to do. Solder the power and video directly to the board to eliminate plugs. Do you have a picture of the screen video soldering location just to make sure I connect it to the right spot? I'm using a Pi 3.

Any thoughts on the modification process for this board. I haven't seen one like this anywhere on the site. I dont know which chip to remove. Two look very similiar.
