That is wrong. I have an element14 pi3 and the box clearly say "Made in UK"

Re: Overclocked Pi3: Linpack bench & Cpuburn-a53 (at same ti

But the only question is: Does a stock Pi3 run linpack? And the answer is NO, unless you overvolt it by 2. You showed: unless you overvolt it by 4. So? And my only question to you was: Can you run linpack with you oc settings?: And the answer is NO: you had to step down frequency! Stock with just a...

Re: Overclocked Pi3: Linpack bench & Cpuburn-a53 (at same ti

2.442 Gflops. Kiddin? 6.06 at stock 1200 to beat. You do realize that I was running cpuburn at the same time as the linpack bench, right? cpuburn was stressing out the CPU, and consuming nearly 400%. My goal was merely to see if I could run the Linpack bench, and have it still pass with cpuburn-a53...

Overclocked Pi3: Linpack bench & Cpuburn-a53 (at same time)

I am not sure if this is how to verify an overclock is truly stable (linpack), and adequately cooled (cpuburn-a53), but i decided to run them both simulteanously and see. My initial arm overclock of 1.3 GHZ failed (crashed repeatedly on linpack) so was lowered to 1.26 GHz. Pi3 overclocked at: dtpara...

Re: Cooling the Pi3 with a fan.

Yes, but i meant NO oc, not even ram. What I expect you will find, is that you need over_voltage = 2 or 1 to run it at stock (=NO oc) settings. This means, that you have to overvolt your pi to get the correct answer for a linear equation. This should not hapen. passed at 8000 stock with over_voltag...

Re: Cooling the Pi3 with a fan.

Why not put it the other way round. NO oc at all, NO cpu , NO ram, just NO; only over_voltage. And then lets see when you get the first correct pass. passed at 8000 stock overvolt/overvolt sdram only as shown (Abient 20C, linpack @55C) over_voltage=4 over_voltage_sdram_p=6 over_voltage_sdram_i=4 ov...

Re: Cooling the Pi3 with a fan.

As I said before, you had to lower clock from your posted settings. Why not put it the other way round. NO oc at all, NO cpu , NO ram, just NO; only over_voltage. And then lets see when you get the first correct pass. Ok. So, you mean run stock, BUT with just the over voltage? Also, third 8000 pass...

Re: Overclocking Raspberry Pi 3

My understanding is that the gpu split is automatic (what ever is not assigned to GPU is for the ARM). In any event, I don't think you can use those overclocks in OpenElec. I am not sure. It is for raspbian jessie with a current apt-get update/apt-get upgrade (which added the sd_overclock functional...
