Re: Program not running

So then if MATRIX needs to be defined within the main function, should I just write it into the main script and not worry about importing?

Re: Program not running

I think I have something which might work, but idk. The issue would be modifying it to accommodate more than 1 user. Not sure if i would write it into the different user section of the script. For now I have it written into the Keypad script for testing purposes. import RPi.GPIO as GPIO import time ...

Re: Program not running

Sorry to all who read, and or replied to this post lol. I finally got the program to run. While in terminal, I navigated my way to the folder location, listed the dir and entered sudo python Keypad2.py and BOOM, it worked. Now Im working on using the keypad script as part of a whole security access ...

can I control the 5V rail?

So from I gather after reading all of your replies, is that the 5V rail can supply power? as long as the pi itself is sufficiently powered and won't be affected? If that is the case, then how would one go about coding, to control when the 5V rail supplies power even for only a moment or longer perio...

I solved by formatting the SD card in my camera :) In Windows it only showed 56MB (even after using SD formatter) after using my camera (Nikon) it showed the 4GB again :) I know this is an old discussion but for anyone who may come across this in their own future search I need to say... Re: Multiple displays on the Pi

2x camera via that you will not get it to direct to 2x tft [are these GPIO screens? - you will have frame rate issues] the best way for 2x camera and 2x display is to use 2x RPi and camera and hdmi screens that will give you 30fps or use hdmi to tft adapters using the CM will give you 2x RPi camera...

Re: Multiple displays on the Pi

I am trying to run 2 cameras using a multiplexer and having the feeds sent to separate TFT screens. I've been told that it would be best to accomplish this by connecting 2 RPi. Is there any possible way to connect to TFT screens to a single RPi ? The renderer won't know which camera is selected, so...
