Printing GPIO buttons/D-Pad + Case design

How would I make circle buttons + D-Pad and make them connect to GPIOs to go to Python so they work as keyboard presses. and access and what design program do you recommend? I need to design a case which has enough room for a Hard Drive and a Pi 3 while still having GPIO access? I'm king of aiming f...

Re: DVDs + Legal

Using OpenElec, is it legal to play DVDs and can I play my movies (Hunger Games, Spectre etc) on it? If you've purchased the DVDs yourself and aren't playing them to an audience, yes. Also does it need to be powered? A Pi works best when powered. And how do I watch Live TV? With your eyes. Also, ca...

Re: School Project: Using Games to Help Kids Eat Healthy

Maybe use scales with a Python API (not sure if there are any of them out there though) and when that weight reaches... Let's say 10 grams and then it allows the game to run. You can access the terminal from RetroPie so you can edit the boot code so it runs the .py file at boot, and disables the con...

Re: Can MineCraft: windows 10 edition work on the pi2?

Try running Android on the Pi and running Minecraft Pocket Edition with Keyboard/Controller settings on, and you might be able to run it, but I'd recommend running a dual-boot build of Raspbian and Android. It might be laggy, but with a Pi 3 or cluster it might be good. Tell me if I'm wrong.

Re: Can MineCraft: windows 10 edition work on the pi2?

Firstly, it is designed for a x86 processor, which the Pi has a ARM one, which makes it not able to run Steam and other applications.
Secondly, it is a Windows .EXE file, designed for Windows, not Linux.
You could try porting it, but it might be slower unless on the Pi 3 or on clusters.

Legal & GPIOs

Is using any game on MAME legal? Or do I have to buy a cartridge, or own it on Virtual Console? Also, can I access the terminal using MAME and also access Python to get Minecraft Pi? Can I setup a program to use the GPIO pins for a case and run at startup and change button presses into key presses (...

Good Design Program [Raspbian]

Is there any 3D case designing programs for Raspbian? (Possibly like Autodesk 123D?)
Also, how long to cases take to 3D print?

Steam Libraries

What commands do I need to use to get the libraries required for Steam, or is it 64-bit only, and is that only a RPi 3 and above?

It should be faster on the RPi 3 as it is the latest model.

I'm developing a controller

I am making a Pi-powered controller (which I'd like to be wireless, but if I need wired I can live with it) and I need to know how to send data over Python in Bluetooth, from a Pi Zero to a B. The Pi Zero will get the controller input, but I just need to know how to broadcast it to another Pi. Is th...

Also, does the controller broadcast over Bluetooth?

No data on Desktop

Hi, I moved my Raspbian SD Card to my Windows 8 PC, and I cannot find any data on my desktop.
Where would it be?
Thanks,
