Re: HDMI output on TV problem

So I suggest that the wiki be changed so that there is an extra line above or below the line: "Add the following line to the configuration file: ". EXTRA LINE: ""Only enter when config.txt is empty so that hdmi_drive=2 is the only line in config.txt"" But that's not correct. Depending on what appli...

However it is true that some options in config.txt may affect each other, and it is quite possible that if yo...

Re: HDMI output on TV problem

The instructions on the wiki don't tell you that you need to feed the arguements "individually". What I was doing was filling in the config.txt with all the arguements not just hdmi_drive=2, which fixed the issue. If you make it clearer that you only insert hdmi_drive=2 when the TV is registered as ...

Re: HDMI output on TV problem

I solved this problem: All fixed (audio + resolution) Instuctions for others who may be experiencing the same issue with a TV and the Raspberry Pi: 1. Install a fresh image 2. start-up the Raspberry Pi and let it set itself up (normal set-up) 3. After you have gone through normal set-up: a. Log-in a...

I don't know how to get the EDID file and paste it here, and The config.txt file is not making any changes. I am a part ...

Re: No sound over HDMI [solved]

If anyone thinks they are not getting the TV mode/resolution they expect by default then post your edid.dat, and describe what mode you think you should be getting and we'll investigate. I think I should be getting full HD (1080p) but I am not. I also don't have sound over HDMI. The TV keeps defult...
