Re: My Camera arrived today... what now?

I followed the instructions to get the video stream working between the raspicam and my Windows PC.

It seemed to always be delayed...

How can I make it LIVE / Real-time?

Re: Foundation Camera Board information

I ordered two on launch day, can't wait!! But while I do wait, is there a technical drawing with the dimensions of the PCB, and the positioning, size, height of the sensor so that I can get started on an enclosure? Thanks in advance This looks like a cry for wiki maintenance and updating (by the co...

Re: My Camera arrived today... what now?

It's not 'mounted' - you have to use the scripts to get photos/videos out. After reading the documentation for setting up a network stream, and then going to set up mplayer on Windows (which was not really good from first empressions and experimentation) I thought you could use something else to st...

I did make the comment that it is clear (please excuse 240p video quality).

Enjoy. I am signing off for the night now. Talk in the morning.

Re: My Camera arrived today... what now?

Is there any software available for be to run the camera board which arrived today at my house? Try running rpi-update and look at /opt/vc/bin/raspistill and /opt/vc/bin/raspivid I think: /opt/vc/bin/raspivid -d -t 100000 will run a camera demo. (You'll want startx=1 and gpu_mem=128 in config.txt)....

When will you be making an instruction guide?

I am very interested in doing something similar with an old TomTom display.

Re: What's the latest wait time from Newark/Element 14?

Element14 in Australia are notorious for not updating their lead times, hence: 1. When can we (in Australia) expect to see model A? 2. Can we expect the camera board before June 25th (current lead time)? And why do we have to wait months longer than the people in Europe and the US? (I know this is a...

Re: Parallella: A Supercomputer For Everyone

Not to bring this thread up from the dead, but can someone explain the difference between this and Raspberry Pi? I know Parallella uses more than 1 core, but does this mean it's harder to program? All I need is something to build a media center and if Raspberry Pi is suitable for that (I've read re...
