Re: "Under-voltage detected" and red LED blink

What model Pi are you using? And what is the current rating of your power supply?
An undervolt can be the result of trying to draw more current from the power supply, than what its capable of.

Re: hepl with sense hat matrix

I haven't tried this on a Sense Hat, but in Raspbian if you do the following it disables the Rainbow Splash screen you see on boot up.
sudo nano /boot/config.txt

Add

disable_splash=1

Re: My screen appears to have broken!

I swapped out the DSI cable for a longer one to make it easier to get access to the Micro SD card. The Display DSI and camera CSI cables are identical so if you have one of those kicking around you could swap it in.

Re: Stop. Gluing. The. Camera. Lens.

My version 1 official cameras were glued to lock in the focus. It was trivial to unlock them though. It was just one tiny drop of glue. Some gentle persuasion with a pair of forceps was all it took to get manual focus back.

The last couple of V2 official camera modules I got weren't glued? They even came with an adjustment doflicky in the box so you could adjust the focus.

Re: Raspberry Pi Zero - Version 2?

IMHO, its all about expectations. If you have unrealistic expectations your going to be disappointed. Educate yourself on what your buying versus what you hope to do with it. The Pi Zero is what it is, an inexpensive entry level SBC. A very well featured entry level SBC. IMHO, your getting a lot of ...

Re: How to get stereo output

Given that this is the beginners area I suspect the poster is asking about the jack plug requirements for the socket. I gave up using it on the Pi 3 because of quality issues but I seem to recall that a standard stereo 3.5 mm jack plug doesn't work, it needs the extra 4th connector band on the plug...

Re: switching fan from 3.3v to 5v makes pi crash

I'm running my fan off of the 3.3V pin with no issues. I've done this on my Pi 4B and my Pi 3B+. I've done this to quiet down the fan. I'm monitoring my temps and I'm fine doing it this way. It's been running like this for months now. To the OP, one thing you want to be sure of is that its a Break B...

Re: How to use different amps and volts besides the standard ones?

There ae many many add on boards / Hats that will let you monitor and control different voltages. Level shifters to let you talk with devices that use 5 V logic. Analog to digital converters to measure voltages with precision. Motor controllers. Servo controllers.

What he said, I have several Motion Eye OS cameras setup. I have Motion Detection set to Off. Movies and Still Images are also set to Off. Double check that you have the cable inserted the correct way. If either end is flipped 180, it's the sane as having no cable / camera connected. Blue side to the locking bar side of the CSI connectors.

Re: Screen and ribbon cable

Using the female to male cable is the same as just plugging the screen onto the GPIO. It's not an issue. Unused pins are unused pins. Depending on what pins are used you could use a 26 pin ribbon cable instead of the 40. Assuming only pins in that 26 Pin section are used.
