It sounds to me like he is trying to copy the file via the GUI/file manager, so there's really no way to precede any command with anything...

Help! Fixing sound broke it!

Greetings. my sound output was playing a TV static noise along with any audio being played, I am running Ubuntu MATE on raspberry pi 2 Model B. I looked everywhere to remove the static noise and they said for me to go to nano mode sudo nano /boot/config.txt and i did, so when i went into nano mode ...

No way to ask for permission with admin password for stuff

Hi i want to make my raspberry pi start up with a custom boot picture exept when i copy the picture to /etc/ it gives me a Permission denied window. any way around it?
