What permissions should /dev/mem have?

Hi,

In an attempt to solve a problem I had, I changed the permissions on /dev/mem to 666. Now I want to reset it back to the way it was. What permissions is it supposed to have?

/Janne

Re: TL-WN725N hostapd Disassoc problem

Solved it. It was the line "allow-hotplug wlan0" that was missing from the "/etc/network/interfaces" file. After adding that, everything worked fine.

TL-WN725N hostapd Disassoc problem

Hi, I'm able to use my wifi stick to connect to my home wifi, but I need it work wherever I bring my pi, so I've tried to make it act as an AP, using hostapd, but I haven't got that to work unfortunately. I've tried all combinations of drivers and hostapd versions, and some clearly don't work, but e...

Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.1.xx+

Hi, I've got a Raspberry pi 2 B, 4.1.13-v7+ #826, and I've downloaded the specified driver from the beginning of this thread, and was able to use it as a client, connecting to my home wifi. However, I'd like to use it as a AP, so I've compiled hostapd from https://github.com/jenssegers/RTL8188-host...
