I compiled it with your options again. It's not crashing any more and video is working now, but audio (in video files) is jerky and out of sync. after months, recompiled vlc-2.2.2 dont get from git, with --enable-omxil --enable-omxil-vout --enable-rpi-omxil without mmal. almost perfect, .mkv .mp4 with subtitle.ass .srt & youtube play 1080p with smtube, dvb-t-SD-HD...etc. only one problem, no-frame full screen like omxplayer, so can not contr...

smtube is another option, with VC4 driver and vlc can play 360p.mp4 very smooth, 720p.mp4 little choppy.

no needed Pi 3~100, just give us vc4 driver & power browser. Go watch some of the interviews with Eben Upton. He acknowledges that there a lot of interest in Gb Ethernet and SATA, but the bandwidth on the only available SoC connection (the USB port) isn't enough to provide either. So...why shouldn'...

new GL driver can play DVB-T SD channel very well but DVB-T HD only sound no video.
ps. DVB-T on vlc with channels.conf.

ok, change Makefile path from chrome to chromium, everything doing well.
