Is this a v1.2 Pi2B, booted under a 64-bit kernel? Or <=v1.2 booted under a 32-bit kernel?
Rip2b <1.2 32bit armv7 kernel.

O..p, Rpi2B and archlinuxarm kernel follow 'rpi-update'.
when ffplay -vcodec h264_v4l2m2m, say 'could not fine a valid device'.

in dmesg, does it matter?

Re: Motorola Lapdock Atrix with the Pi

I gave up using anything later than a RPi 2B on a Lapdock due to such power constraints. And after much use, some columns of the keyboard stopped working reliably, requiring multiple hard keypresses to get one character on the screen. :( I haven't got a 3A+ to test, so I can't help on that score. s...

Re: VC4 and Mesa Drivers Update Plan

@cjan, we have tried everything we possibly can but are not aware how to try "kernel-4.19 & mesa-18.3.4." We're looking for ways to do that. Can you point us in the right direction? Like I said, we tried compiling the drivers but cannot get them to load. Any tutorials or instructions how to do that...

want to block v4l2, which module(s)?
Any particular reason why? Both sit there taking near zero resources if not used.
bcm2835-v4l2 for the camera
bcm2835-codec for the codecs.
use vc4-kms-v3d, seems slow down system, after block become better.
but don't know if im right? or just 4.19 issue?

Re: 4.19 kernel 64 bit support - please report issues here

Hint: you may have better luck using vc4-kms-v3d than vc4- f kms-v3d with these kernels atm. What issues are you seeing with fkms? I thought I'd got to the bottom of the issue on fkms and it is working fine for me. Buster appears to have a broken Mesa at the moment though, so x is giving me issues....

Re: Moving Linux kernel to 4.19

why didn't update firmware still 4.14.94 ? I think you'll have to explain what you have done to get any help. Have you run rpi-update? What did it output? Have you rebooted? What does uname -a report? don't know does it call firmware or not? but saw it in github modules kernel bump to 4.19.23 20 ho...

another dependency issue,
ffmpeg update to stretch version not rpt version, just like previous vlc-306 do.
