LEDs staying on

I got Sense Hat yesterday for my RPi 2 B. I played around with the Python examples that I got when installing it. They ran ok but I couldn't turn the LEDs of after even tough I got the script to stop running using Ctrl c. I had to shut down the Pi and unplug from the mains. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you very much for your help. I didn't realise that Raspbian was in NOOBS. I'm downloading it now. Thanks for the links.

Re: Upgrade to Jessie's, SD problem

Hello. Thanks for your reply. I've seen an article about Jessie and it has other programs in the menu and there is an eject USB button at the top. Do I need a different SD card to the one that came with the Pi? I'm sorry to ask this very basic question but does the pi run from the SD card like my la...

Upgrade to Jessie's, SD problem

I got a Rpi 2B for Christmas and have just seen that my os is out of date. I've downloaded a zip file of Jessie. Do I just overwrite the copy of Raspbian that is on the SD card that came with the Pi? Another thing. When I put the card in the card reader in my windows laptop it's listed as RECOVERY (...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hello everyone. Like thousands of people I got a Raspberry pi 2 for Christmas. Have had a play around but can't get too involved because of Christmas. Looking forward to learn more over the coming months.

Thank you for that. I'll go and have a look later. I'm enjoying playing around with it. My grandson uses it on the Web. He can show me what to do.

Scratch differnet to scratch.mit

Hello. I got RPi for Christmas and was playing around with Scratch on the WWW but when I went to use it on the Pi, Data and Event are missing on the screen. Is this right or is there a problem with my program?
Thanks for your help
Gary
