As others have said, get on eBay (or similar) and look around. Expect to pay more than the nominal/optical $5 price.

The point is that the real price (value) of a Pi Zero is well above the nominal/optical 5 dollar mark.

BTW, DT (device tree) is mandatory for new SOCs and that includes the BCM2386 (RPI2). "mandatory" in what sense? Legally required? You guys are, as usual, all missing the point.

The OP is having problems downloading large files. Thus, any "solution" that involves downloading a large file is a non-starter.

Note that if you want an armV7 specific OS, there are options.

E.g., Ubuntu Mate.

And note that there are advantages to going this route. But, as noted in this thread, it doesn't make sense to do it for the mainline Raspbian.

Most people will probably not need it, but its safer to say that it should be turned on to avoid problems for those that needs it.
