Re: Sound not loud enough

Let us start with the obvious: Have you used alsamixer to check the volume is not set very low? If alsamixer is not installed, it is provided by the alsa-utils package. However, if you are trying to run Pulseaudio or one of the other alternative sound systems, I'm afraid I can't help. Yes I have al...

Sound not loud enough

Hello, I have a stereo 3.7w class D audio amplifier from adafruit and off of it I have wired 2 Mini Metal Speakers w/Wires that are 8ohm 0.5W also from adafruit. I have wired it up properly and when I tested it the sound was playing just very quietly. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. OS: Re...

Wiring Raspi Screen

I was wondering what is needed to wire the screen
Does power go from the screen to the pi or the pi to the screen
Is the screen compatible with retropie 3.6
If the power goes from the screen to the pi what is the input voltage range

Re: Programming 2 joysticks

I don't know what library you are using, but it looks like you need to instantiate two Joystick objects, not one. Right now, the code would read channels 0 & 1, then overwrite X and Y when reading channels 2 & 3 I don't know if the second listing should work, I am not familiar with that Joystick ob...

Programming 2 joysticks

I have made a program and I can't get it to read the 2 joysticks separately. I have verified that both joysticks do work fine separately but they read as one joystick when used together. void loop() { // read analog inputs and set X-Y position Joystick.X(analogRead(0)); Joystick.Y(analogRead(1)); Jo...

Re: Teensy Boards

The Teensy 2.0 would work for what you need. The teensy ++ 2.0 might be overkill but gives expandability. If you use the teensy 3.2, just feed the 3.3v into the 5v of the joystick. The 5v is more or less just the voltage in on the joystick, you can use less than 5v. But don't use 5v on the joystick...

Re: Playstation help

I imagine links to rom sites are probably not allowed here, I think I tried an iso and it didn't work. cue files are something that usually accompanies an image file and is sort of a table of contents from the disc with info of where the audio tracks and stuff are, cue files are useless though with...
