No the RAM split is dependent on which start.elf file you use.

Re: Wheezy gcc can't find stdio.h

Funnily enough I tried to compile something on Raspbian and got the same error so I'm going to subscribe to this thread in hopes of a solution.

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

For those using dirty region settings, have you managed to get it to work satisfactorily so you don't end up with blank regions of the screen? I tried the first build and no matter which dirty region type or timeout I would always end up with blank sections.

Re: vchiq_lib error

I updated some of the boot files on my debian 19-04-2012 image and now when I try and run anything that uses the GPU (omxplayer, XBMC) I get an error that says:

vchiq_lib: Very incompatible VCHIQ library - cannot retrieve driver version

Any ideas what else needs updating?

Does OpenELEC build using hardfp by default or is there a flag to set before you compile?

While I didn't learn anything groundbreaking (I'm a software developer) I did learn a few new things about Linux and think the coding tutorials are pitched at the perfect level for a beginner!  Well done guys!

Re: Bulding XBMC for Raspberry Pi

Since I can't get NFS to work for me...

How easy would it be to build XBMC completely on the build machine and then manually copy over the files to a mounted SD card with the debian image on? (Similar to the OpenELEC build process)
