Given the work that has been done on raspivid and raspi_tc358743 so far, have you any thoughts on how feasible a v4l driver is? I'm trying to get a feel for whether you can use a B101 for this purpose.

I seem to have corrupted the SD card again by running dd with the following config.txt

disable_overscan=1
over_voltage=6

core_freq=275

The only difference from when it was stable is that I added core_freq=275.

I upgraded and all seemed OK until it tried to reboot after the update. Since then it doesn't boot up. Something from 0.6.3 -> 0.7 has broken it.

In a lot of circumstances a NAS box is just a low powered linux box. In most instances the NAS can already do what you want to do with the Pi. I recently bought a D-Link DNS-320 and I've managed to install transmission bt on it and can log in remotely via my phone or pc to get it to download torrents.

Did you do (as root) ldconfig to rebuild the library cache files? I am not (yet) using xbmc, but tvservice (for example) would not work until I rebuilt the loader's library cache. It will be a lot quicker than a rebuild, if it works. I'll give this a go later when I get home and report back. Thanks.
