Re: Rastrack es Inseguro, no metan su info real!!!!!

The map already uses the Geocoder and has been working fine for a year, I would like to think that I am already pretty experienced with it from where I have ran it for a year. Try getting google to run 27k requests per load, I only have a limit of 25k a day... Currently it says input Town or Postcod...

All of the data you input into the website or Raspi-Config it adds it into one (Now gigantic) MySQL Table, all but your email and unique ID is then generated into ...

You should see a little Raspberry show up on Rastrack.co.uk at your approximate location (Around where your town name is.

It seems to be working fine now.

If you find the Github repo (https://github.com/asb/raspi-config and create an issue for Wi-Fi someone may look into it, I may even look into it for you :)

Unlike the full website edition this actually provides a lot more privacy with it only using GEOip and getting your home town. Like the tool says its a bit of fun ;)#

Also the sites up now, :)

Re: RasTrack added to raspi-config

Responses To Posts: So, put it in place first, announce it later. Seems odd to me. I can't help the website mucking up, its been in place for almost 1 year now. The Actual addition via the config tool is fully in place as well. And that's why are we are announcing it tomorrow / sunday It's not even ...

Re: RasTrack added to raspi-config

Hi There, Ryan Here. The reason why is because It was suggested by quite a few users, I spoke to Alex about it and it was Semi agreed. Full details are being announced this weekend. Currently from where some have been added and it hit the 20k mark the programming has caused a few errors, darn my 15 ...

What webcam are you using? I had an issue like this with a Logitech webcam that was either not getting enough power or had bad drivers.

I found running it via CLI i did not improve performance.

Unfortunately testing on the 512MB Pi has been delayed due to my new one being broken :(

Re: Problem with Mumble-server

Are you trying to connect via the WAN IP using your computer inside the network or outside.

I found that others could access it via my WAN ip but I had to use my LAN ip for servers in general due to the router :)

What exactly is the resolution that the screen displays at? Have you tried it with your computer / laptop to see if it is the screen or the pi?

Re: Pi Store on Odroid-X???

Ubuntu Fully took out of supporting Raspberry Pi (Unfortunately in some ways but good in others)

I do know that they are launching a linux version of the store and are accepting beta testers.

If the company offers the game on Linux it will work on that version of the store :)

Re: How to create a Pi Wifi Access Point

The fact that you provide an SD Card image is great!

Noticing your packages, there are lots more wireless firmwares out their for the Pi, I know mine is firmware-ralink for an Edimax Adaptor (I Think)

Otherwise good job :D

Re: Is there a way to have WiFi without USB?

You can use a router or wireless bridge thingy set to act as a receiver and connect the internet cable from that to the Pi :)

Re: Raspberroids Low Fps

I have to say I know this is an issue but have not been able to fully test it out on the 512MB Pi myself (Until Christmas). I have experimented with it a little but have only been able to squeeze about 1 more FPS out of it. I think it has pointed out a lot on what we need to look at for RasPiThon 20...

I have found chromium reasonably good for basic tasks that Midori and others can run, HTML5 is just not fast enough yet on the Pi.

Re: No green LED

Is the SD card pushed all the way into the slot?
Also are the contacts from the SD card holder to the circuit board shiny (Could be soldering issue?)

I luckily haven't had no problems with mine so don't know much about debugging.

Hope this helps :)
