Re: USB packet loss.

Yes, I am looking at it now, taking some time but I've got the Yoctopuce board reproducing the problem and have started to understand the problem... It seems to be something to do with the hub and split transactions, I don't think the NYET is being handled properly. So it'll only effect 1.0 and 1.1...

Re: List of games for Raspberry Pi

Actually that slot isn't adequate at all. the ribbon will fit threw there yes but what about the connections even the lowest Profile one would be abov...

Re: Waterproof case?

RS do a full range of IP66 connectors how ever most of them require the motherboard to have the base connection thats quite a bit of soldering required but if your good with an iron take a look over there. i would then presume you could seal the Raspberry pi into the liquid plastic type case and let...

once again it seams when anyone posts any comments you get your back up and start it as a flame war all i said is that every thing when resold is worth less. as no one pays more unless its rare no longer available or very desirable. ask the Radio DJ Chris Evens how much he paid for a 1964 Ferrari it...

Re: Mpeg 2 poll

Mpeg2 doesn't do anything to further the foundation's goals. Providing it will cost the foundation money and effort. Money and effort that would be far better spent getting Raspberry Pis into classrooms. If you want an mpeg-2 compatible pvr, there is a large choice of prepackaged ones out there - b...

just a costing thing but if the licence is $2 then thats a little over £1.20 i think admin per user wanting the Blob. say £8 pounds and £5 pound transfers with 100000 Pis in circulation or more if 25% of people wanted Mpeg2 on there Pi thats 25000X £10 = £250,000 pounds in the first take of money, n...

On another level, I have always found that paying a little more up-front avoids the misery of having to buy things twice or more. My last Volvo S80 car purchase was £5,000, 7 years ago. Apart from fuel and other consumables, it cost me zero in maintenance, zero in parts, zero in headache. Guess what...

if there having issues with USB 1.0 and USB1.1 Version hardware i would assume most if not all keyboards never got passed 1.0/1.1 versions i don't remember seeing a 2.0 USB keyboard as 2.0 is backward compatible did you mean the repeated key and missing key stokes issue. mentioned elsewhere on forum...
