Re: Complete New User Getting Stated Guide

After login (slim) I got a black screen and a white mouse cursor (cross shaped).
No menus, no panels.
What could have gone wrong?

I don't want a powered USB hub.
Wanna keep the device small.

Problems with wlan dongle (RTL8188CUS)

Hi, Got a Digitus 150N mini wlan dongl with a Realtek RTL8188CUS chipset. When it's plugged the system (debian, raspian, raspbmc) won't start. Even though I managed to get it recognized somehow. I installed the realtek-firmware and dmesg shows something wlan related I cannot remember right now. Anyw...

Same problem, I can't login either with 'root' nor with my own user.
Followed the pepedog's steps until point 32.

Re: Why is everything slow

So which distribution is to recommend right now according speed and stability?
Debian, the only one I tried yet, is pretty slow. Heard that arch should work better

Re: Measuring power of mobile charger

Thanks Montala! Very interesting.

Found a third mobile charger (4.8V/1.0A; 5.0V/550mA; 5.0V/1.0A).
Obviously the last one seems to be the best one.

Re: Measuring power of mobile charger

Aren't there slight differences even though the specs are the same?!
Are the cable length always considered?
And how about cables I use to get power from an USB Port?

Measuring power of mobile charger

I've got 2 mobile charger to power up my RPi. Is there a easy way (program?!) to figure out which one does deliver more power?

What's the maximum/ideal power input anyway?!

Fritzbox USB port for power supply?

Hi,

the headline says it pretty much.
Can I operate a RPi which is powered by the USB port of a DSL router (Fritz!Box 7390)?

Re: Despatch expected within 8 week (GER)

How's that possible?! Ordered on 4th of April (GER), that's about 10 weeks! Was promised that up to a certain order date customers will get before july. Okay, there is still time left but nevertheless there are people who got their Pi within 3 weeks. Obviously it's not first in/first out. That's dis...

Re: remote keyboard/mouse via android app

How are the chances to use an android phone as keyboard/mouse device via bluetooth? Is it possible?
Is it difficult to realize? What do I need (except of a working bluetooth dongle)?
What android app could be used?
