there are lotsa OS's and versions or derivatives of them, so my 1st question to your question would be, what do you need to use tin Devuan that is not available in one of the (now many) arm6 hf OS images. If you want speed and size, then I recommend PipaOS (Wheezy+Xgui or 512/256). go to the downloa...

Re: Will there be a Devuan port for RPi1?

Just FYI I had been using an ARM build of Devuan at the time of the OP. It was successfully updated at the time of the beta release, before there was a rpi image available for download. I patched it with a couple of binaries I used on Jessie & Wheezy (eject for lxde was one) and added sdl1.2 (was no...

Re: HOWTO: detached top menu bar (ie Atari ST, Amiga, Mac)

heres a screenshot of my system that uses LXDE, listed below are the 2 files used with LXPANEL, note the code required to get an "apps list" (custom second menu button). Re: PCManFM right click menu and Open As Root

When Raspian was first released you could login as root, and it is something I have done on all my Linux setups That allows you to "see" when you are using apps as root, as mostly either regular theme gets changed, of you can change the one as root user. So on screen you will see 2 different window ...
