Re: Trying to make pi run minecraft 1.14.1

I found the cp path list for 1.14.1 but could not find ‘ net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch’ in it so would it be possible for somebody to send me the correct cp ? Not possible unless you can get LWJGL3 compiling for ARM. https://github.com/LWJGL/lwjgl3/issues/206 This should be working now accordi...

on Stretch there is: libreadline-dev libreadline6 libreadline7 however nothing installs 'readline.pc' which is needed by 'pkg-config', and worked fine on Jessie while searching for anything readline, this comes up: /usr/share/man/man3/readline.3readline.gz I think the 'libreadline' maintainers dont ...

Re: SDL2 .deb package not in repo (2019/04/10)

thanks for the link. I checked that server, but only main and not ui.

can I presume that +rpt builds are also (only) coming from ui on the archive server (or is it just the archive server in general)?

thanks again by the way

Cheers

Re: When compiling for Pi3 in Arch32 enabling VFP

Nice answer, but you probably should not post delayed (by 4 months) posts like this, but I will clarify: What does this mean? means @sheroy where is the actual fix, which was the reason for the original post. I mentioned BOTH DietPi and RetroPi because they both have files that document the actual g...

I have not yet been able to enable the floating point unit, I have tried many options (Linux and windows) and have not yet been able to enable the FP unit. a bit old but FYI non-the-less: I (mostly) dont use X-Windows, but I do use Chromium Browser and the VT consoles (Ctrl+Alt+Fn). Chrome requires an X DISPLAY to run on. The following are the scripts I use to transfer "selected text" between Chrome (X Windows) and the Linux Console virtual terminals (...

Re: Low-level (Linux framebuffer) graphics programming tutorial

I just spent 2 days with repo/fb/font/fbtestfnt.c getting it to work on a late 2016 build of Raspbian (PipaOS 5 XGUI) (kernal 4.4.50-v7+), and althought I just lost all the code, I thought I post some info about it. for anyone interested: the terminal pulled up by Ctrl+Alt+T is probably here: ls -l /etc/alternatives/x-terminal-emulator /etc/alternatives/x-terminal-emulator -> /usr/bin/lxterminal Its a soft link, so you can re-link it manually to the terminal of your choice: cd /etc/alternatives sudo rm x-termin...

you can also add the mega.nz repo to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
or alternatively, add it into a file into /etc/apt/sources.list.d/megasync.list
