HDMI config.txt settings to make it work everywere

So I have been using my raspi for video art in many different places, where I simply plug it to the local hdmi tv. Many times the HDMI cable is very long. Other times the HDMI cable is not very good quality.. I started to face drop outs in both image and sound (when I use sound)... Reading all that ...

I have been experimenting with the Qt5 libraries from twolife.be because they have given the best results so far with QtQuick and EGLFS. The results of my experimenting can be found here: https://github.com/Topguy/Raspberry-Qt5-experiments Hello TopGuy. I cannot install the qt packages from the tow...

Re: BBC iPlayer moves away from Flash and towards HTML5

just to let you all now that there is a old tool called:
get iplayer

It is command line, and beautifully pass direct stream urls to your player of choice.

Re: Hardtime with NodeJs

I am running as root.
My Raspbian install has only the root user:
https://github.com/debian-pi/raspbian-ua-netinst

EDIT:
I found that as a root user I had to first:
npm config set unsafe-perm true
and that did the trick.
Thank you!

Hello, I came to this same solution, by trial and error... but instead of -1, I rised the value to 90000 and that worked for every video, even longer ones... I will try your -1, maybe it is better pratice? I noticed that there is a 10 second timeout in video.c (lines 185/186) // wait for EOS from re...
