How much were you charged for shipping?

Since it came overseas, was there a large delivery charge?

I ordered the first day from Newark and had an early delivery date, but it keeps changing and is now showing the middle of August. :(

Re: My Pi Has Shipped!

Are all you folks getting word of shipment in the UK?  I ordered from element14 on the first day and just checked and my expected ship date changed from August 16th to August 15th.  8-(  Here's hoping they get some stock in the US soon...

Re: March 30 shipments pushed to August 16?

Me too.  I am in the US and ordered from element14 on the first day possible and had a ship date of March 30th as of last night.  Today I checked, and it says: Expected Ship Date 16 Aug 2012.  I am really bummed out.  8-(

Re: CountyComm Survival Tin Case

<t>Go to any stationary or hardware store and you can buy Velcro strips or pads in various sizes and shapes - circular, strips, etc.  One side of the strip is adhesive and the other side is either the hooks or loops.  Put one half on the bottom of the Pi and the other half on the bottom of the case....

Re: SD Card Benchmarks

<t>Yes, that's exactly what I'm going to do.  Did I say Extreme?  If so, I meant Ultra.  Costco has the 16 GB Sandisk Ultra MicroSD Card with Adapter for $17.99 currently.  Gonna grab one today and will post results later.  There seemed to be some discussion about whether micro-cards with adapters w...

Re: Has anyone actually received a board yet?

<t>At least in the case of Newark/Element I4, you can click on your order number on the website to get more detail, including the estimated ship date.  Mine is also the 30th of this month, which since I ordered early on the first day, I suspect will be their first customer shipment.  It looks like o...

Re: SD Card Benchmarks

These results were disappointing.  4K write speeds are terrible!  This is a brand new AmazonBasics SDHC Class 10 16 GB Secure Digital Card.  Tests were rerun several times.  Going to stop by Costco to pick up an Extreme card to compare.
