like has been said before, that resolution is too small for successfully running a conventional desktop environment.

only way you could make it work is to install a panning program, which would be very annoying to use without a proper mouse anyway.

Don't believe the "60 fps human eye" thing, it's nothing but complete uneducated garbage

Eye+brain interpretation of visuals is nothing like technological timed 1-frame shutters, and even comparing the two points to nothing but incompetence.

Also those RC batteries are made for a very high discharge rate, I don't know how that will affect their performance, but any serious vendor should be able to offer proper datasheets on batteries, because it's important.

make sure you don't have shorts anywhere.

for instance small metal flake might have wedged between solder points that don't belong to be connected.

things like this can happen when you handle uncased circuit board systems..

It's true that the people who are in charge of the official retailing of the RPi are mostly responsible for this phenomenon, by being unable to supply even a fraction of the demand at any reasonable pace.
