Hooray! A build that does what it says on the tin...(Mainly!).

Finding the Wifi settings was interesting - now downloading quite happily.

Might try V2 later.

Congratulations.

Re: VESA mount for the Raspberry SAFE

I like the idea - but as my main TV is wall-mounted and uses the VESA holes, any chance of an offset baseplate that can be held by the TV VESA bolts with the Raspi off to one side (or on top etc...). Nice case!!

SD & Other Card-reader.

Hi all,

Just tried a Kunft R083 USB SD & Other Card reader plugged into my USB Hub - works a treat (does Micro-sd too). I can now Gparted another distro using the Pi itself. Cost (in Portugal) €6.99

Re: Letpower VONETS VAP11G WIFI BRIDGE

I had one (for another project) which worked fine (for a single Pi) for a while, then stopped - I need to spend a bit more time to find out why....!! Hmm - works fine with Win7, Win8 but not Linux (Puppy, UBuntu 10.4 etc....) Something about unable to negotiate with the DHCP (on the router I presum...

Re: Puppy for RP, alpha3

After Debian (Squeeze & Wheezy) this is a very good system for relative noobs... Quick setup of WiFi (and auto-reconnect), recognizes an external HDD, Logitech 400 keyboard & trackpad, HDMI Video working fine. Sound is a bit crackly and not via HDMI (despite changing the setting mentioned in the rel...

Re: Sound via HMDI

Was that 2832 or 2835 on your modprobe? (or a mistype in the post!) I get HDMI sound on Squeeze but not on Wheezy no matter what I try.

Where's the feedback page/forum for Wheezy????

Re: USB problem solved! New problem (no sound :( )

Doesn't seem to work with my Pi - I've got sound etc on Squeeze that way. On Wheezy the LXPlayer chucks away my playlists - methinks a re-download & re-image is called for??

p.s. On Wheezy I install synaptic - where did it go???

Re: Ordered on 21.5. "Despatch expected within 3 weeks"

Patolin, the orders 20xxx-21xxx were being shipped yesterday so I wouldn't expect 33xxx to be processed until a little while still. Hmmm - as I'm 236xx I reckon I should be "shortly" receiving a Pi. Bet it turns up on the same day as my SSD for my Win7 M/C!! Wrong - DHL just delivered my Pi 10 mins...
