Re: cannot run a docker registry : could not be invoked

But the output you posted indicates you are using debian-based files for some of what you are doing. I am suggesting that you use only arch-based or files from upstream which are not from debian.

Re: cannot run a docker registry : could not be invoked

Is there any reason for not just using the ArchLinux sources? They might build better. It looks to me like docker is available for armv7h, or are you trying to change the stock build?

pacman -Ss docker

it is in the community repository.

Re: Pi3

I do not have a Pi3, but would suggest you make sure that you have the packages installed that are needed for wireless, and also enable the service. Detecting the hardware does not mean the wireless software is there or enabled, and you are using a Pi2 system.

They still say it is broken and needs fixing with "Master", the way I read what you gave link for. Maybe you should report the package problem at the ArchLinuxArm forum, the one for problems with packages? You will need to read the instructions for posting there, to make sure it is the right place, ...

Re: Error about ltrace

If ltrace has a known bug, then it would not be a raspberry pi archlinuxarm issue and the place to discuss solving it, I think, would be what is called "upstream", where ltrace comes from. Is it a general ltrace bug? Maybe someone else here can answer your question, but if not, then it might be wort...

Re: L2TP/IPSec cant get it working

It looks like you need to use a numeric IP address and you have used a text URL instead in your ipsec.secrets file.

Too bad that guide you followed did not make that clear, but other sites show numeric IPs and not alphabetic URLs in their examples.

Re: How to make a root fs read only?

I am sure this question has been answered before in the forums, and not sure what the conclusion was. You likely could change it, although I am not sure how, but the question in my mind is whether the applications your users would need to run would be able to function properly without write access. ...

Which model of Pi do you have? And where did you get the system that you are trying to upgrade? Also, post the output of "cat /proc/version". If the system you are trying to upgrade is an unsupported image, it might be better to get a current, totally supported version of ArchLinuxArm and follow the...

This is an ArchLinuxArm forum, not sure why you are posting a Debian image here? There is free webspace around, some folks have created github or sourceforge pages for images or scripts. It would help if you could specify which hardware you are trying to update archlinuxarm on, and where you obtained the "image". Also, what does "cat /proc/version" show? ArchLinuxArm for the Raspberry Pi no longer is installed with images, but rather with a tarball. Or do you mean you are running pa...

I do not think so, they are different architectures. The binaries for armv6h (pi 1) will not work on pi 2's armv7h system. You certainly can transfer your text and personalized configuration files over, but not the binaries. If you have a /var/log/pacman.log you could use that to see what you have i...

The command "pacman -Qi libxfcegui4" will tell you if there are any packages on your system that depend on it. It is highly likely that those depending on it previously, no longer do, but you may have to research the dependencies of those other packages to make sure. Pacman can examine the dependenc...
