Re: Raspian Kernel vs Vanilla kernel

If it is just armv6hf in 3.6.7 you want, did you notice that Pepedog has made a test version available?

http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 24#p221724

Maybe you might want to ask your question again in that thread which he is more likely to monitor?

Re: Executing files and compatibility

I did not find the post where someone said they got Teeworlds to work on their Pi, but maybe you could ask them for a copy of their port of it? You are running an ARM machine, it cannot run something coded for another specific architecture. So yeah, if nobody else has ported it who is willing to sha...

Re: RS & Allied Update #5 (9th Nov)

Allied USA site customers still need a shipping table. For those who will be away for the holidays, an email saying our orders will be shipped by 21 Dec means we cannot count on them arriving when we are in town. That is not cool. At least some indication of when they plan on shipping orders placed ...

It is a new post in the RS Update #4, I thought I had put the link in this thread, weird it did not show.

http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 96#p222896

They did not post their location or order number or when Pi was shipped, so it is hard to evaluate.

It would help if you could say which version of Debian you have from Element14, and which distribution you flashed from the Downloads page. I cannot help you about the Element14 as do not know how to find that information in the GUI, but if you still have a copy of the image you flashed the SD card ...

Did not say how he knows they are 256MB.

Re: Which webbrower is best to use and have support for HTML

How does IceWeasel compare to Midori? Both are based on Firefox. Do not have my Pi yet but tried Midori and Chrome on a friend's Fedora amd did not like either, but would take Midori any day over Chromium. But is IceWeasel even available for the Pi? I do not see it in the ArchlinuxArm repository. I ...

I am still a little confused. Since I am connecting the Pi directly to my PDA, am I correct in understanding that the gateway IP is defined or set by that line in cmdline.txt? Re: USB Hubs - "All ports created equally" - or Not.

With the low memory that is on the Pi, I am wondering if you got the same results no matter what order you tested each port?

And if you waited 30 or 60 seconds between tests to make sure the Pi has time to recover.

I tryed to make a script like: #! /bin/sh # /etc/init.d./sdr start() { /usr/local/bin/rtl_tcp -a 192.168.1.101 } exit 0 Just so you understand scripting better, what you hav done is define a function without calling it. You might try setting the environment variables within the script for the cron job, to be the same as yours when you are running from command line. I have had to do that with scripts on my system. But it is on an Embedded Linux system, so not sure I can give you appropriate examples. From the comman...

About the "date" command, it will not set the date unless you add some parameters. Entering "date" alone will only display the current time stored in the system. Re: Problem flashing micro SDXC card

Why don't you try unmounting the card with software? sudo umount /dev/disk1 If you get the same message again that it is busy, then some old process is hanging on to it. You could possibly clear the confusion by rebooting, sometimes that clears such things up. Or run the following, and see if there ...
