So I connect the MOSI/MISO/SCLK in parallel, and since my touchscreen is using CE1 on the GPIO header, and can't be changed, I need to simply recompile a library for the NRF24L01+ that uses CE0?

(I say simply, it looks daunting, but I'm determined!)

I've never used the NRF24L01+ module before, and I want to use it to communicate with some PIC controlled lighting. I also want to use the Pi with a touchscreen. Both need the MOSI/MISO pins - does that essentially mean it's on or the other, but not both?

Thanks - I got a generic level shifter (looks like your D, but came from eBay) - seems to be working ok with I2C as I can use the clock module ok as a test.

I've got one of the 16 channel PWM modules that I intend to control RGB strips with. I'm not sure on the current draw per strip, but I think it's around 600mA per channel. I made the mistake of creating a new install of Jessie. I can't get anything to run on startup, or if I put it in rc.local it doesn't output to the screen.

Is SystemD unable to simply run scripts on startup? Will I have to go back to Wheezy?

The text content can change hourly.
The JPEGs and text will eventually be able to be controlled via the GPIO interface.

I don't see how that could be accomplished in video? ...or are you suggesting compiling a video on boot?

Have you tried OMX Player? It sounds like that video player doesn't utilise the Pi hardware acceleration, but OMX Player does as I've watched Full HD footage direct from my camcorder's SD card smoothly.

That's what I thought, hence wondering about a plugin. If I could write something in Python to do the main leg work, and then expose function calls to KWeb, it would make it infinitely expandable. It would seem a sensible feature for K Web too, since a kiosk could then be any customised display unit...

In terms of what would be most useful, would be the ability to read from, or write to, the GPIO pins from a Javascript library. Manipulating the stuff in Javascript is no problem once it's in, but interfacing with it is the issue. Is there anything in kweb that can do this, or plans to add it?
